T-Shirt drive opens for 2012 crash victimsFARGO – T-shirts honoring four women who died last year in a Feb. 20 car accident are again available to the public.
North Dakota State University student Joe Holenko created and ordered the T-shirts hoping to return any proceeds to the women’s families.
The shirts were available shortly after the accident. Holenko said he was reopening the online site to purchase the T-shirts to mark the one-year anniversary of the accident today.

NDSU freshmen Megan Sample, 18, Rogers, Minn.; Jordan Playle, 19, of Elk River, Minn.; Lauren Peterson, 18, Prior Lake, Minn.; and Danielle Renninger, 18, Excelsior, Minn.; were returning to campus on President’s Day 2012, Feb. 20, when their car slid off Interstate 94 and was struck broadside by an SUV heading east. The SUV was rear-ended by another car.
