Letter: It’s right there in front of you

I just read three incredible stories in The Forum that screamed at me for a reply.

The first was the letter to the editor by T.G. Magin. Wow, what a powerful piece, brother. Where were you during the past presidential election? I am certain your clear vision of what is wrong with America would have given you a landslide victory over the other two yahoos we had to decide between. Give politics a serious consideration but be ready to be smacked down for speaking the honest truth on issues.

Secondly, “Fargo high schoolers rally in March for Life.” Well done, children of God. Jesus answered them saying, “You have trained children and babies to offer perfect praise.” Doesn’t that just smack you in the face like an ice-cold Asian carp jumping out of the river as a boat passes by? (More on my idea for those carp later.)

Thirdly, “Passerby pulls man off railroad tracks.” “The suicidal man, who is unidentified in the report, fought back to stay clung to the tracks.” Martial Avohou eventually dragged the man to safety. “God has allowed me to save a life today because if I was not here, I swear to God, this guy is dead.” Hmmmm, sounds like a miracle to me.

People of the world, open your eyes and ears. It’s right in front of your face everywhere, even in The Forum.
