Radiothon for Fargo children’s hospital starts Monday in Grand Forks areaGRAND FORKS - The second annual Miracle Maker Radiothon that raises money for Sanford Children’s Hospital Fargo starts Monday in the Grand Forks area.
Radio stations Cat Country (100.3 FM) and XL93 (92.9 FM) hope to raise money by broadcasting the radiothon 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
Donations can be made by calling the Miracle Maker Hotline at (701) 757-GIVE (4483); online at sanfordhealth.org; in person at the Sanford East Grand Forks Clinic, 929 Central Ave. N.W., East Grand Forks.
On-air personalities will broadcast live from the clinic and folks are encouraged to participate by calling in or stopping by to share their stories.
Children featured in the event are from Grand Forks, East Grand Forks; Adams, Devils Lake, Fargo, Glasston, Langdon, Leonard, Portland and Sharon in North Dakota; Detroit Lakes, Fergus Falls, Fisher, Roseau and Thief River Falls in Minnesota.
Money raised will support special programs, purchase medical equipment and fund research and education for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, which locally benefits Sanford Children’s Hospital Fargo.
