West Fargo, South Border cruise into their respective state dual finals

FARGO – Both West Fargo and South Border will have a chance to defend their dual state championships later tonight at the Fargodome.

The top-seeded Packers rolled into the Class A finals with a 45-18 victory against Bismarck Century at the North Dakota state wrestling tournament this afternoon. The Class B favorite Mustangs earned a 46-28 victory against Central Cass in the semifinals.

West Fargo will face Bismarck, which defeated Dickinson 63-5 in the semifinals, for the Class A title.

South Border will face Linton-HMB, which defeated Carrington 39-30 in the semifinals, for the Class B championship. Both South Border and Linton-HMB are from Region 1.

In Class B consolation action, Minot Ryan earned a 39-37 victory against Hazen-Beulah. Stanley-Powers Lake-Tioga-Ray earned a 42-33 win against Hettinger.
