Driver charged in St. Paul crash that killed 2ST. PAUL — A St. Paul man is charged with crashing a car into the back of a parked pickup truck, killing two passengers.
Twenty-one-year-old Teng Vang was charged with two felony counts of criminal vehicular homicide. The complaint alleges Vang was driving under the influence and speeding when he crashed into the unoccupied pickup early Friday.
Two passengers in the backseat were killed. They are identified as 28-year-old Chue Vue and 29-year-old Tou Vue, both of St. Paul.
The complaint says the victims had to be identified by their tattoos because their faces were so damaged.
Vang and a front-seat passenger were taken to Regions Hospital. The passenger told police he let Vang drive his car from a bar where the men had been celebrating Valentine's Day.
Vang is now in jail.
