MnDOT closes I-94, Highways 10 and 210 in west-central Minnesota; I-94 from Jamestown to Fargo closed, as is I-29 from Fargo to Grand Forks

DETROIT LAKES, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation will close Interstate 94 from Moorhead to Alexandria at 5:30 p.m. because of near-zero visibility.

Also closing at the same time are Highway 10 from Moorhead to Audubon and Highway 210 from Breckenridge to Fergus Falls, according to a news release.

MnDOT crews planned to begin closing the gates around 5 p.m.

The highways will remain closed until further notice. Motorists are advised not to travel until conditions improve.

In North Dakota, Interstate 94 from Jamestown to Fargo closed early Sunday evening, as did Interstate 29 from Fargo to Grand Forks.
