Westmark’s goal in OT propels Cobbers to women’s hockey victory

ST. PAUL – Anna Westmark scored 17 seconds into overtime as Concordia took down Hamline in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference women’s hockey Saturday.

Bekah Wright tied the game at 1-1 with a third-period goal for the Cobbers (10-7-3, 9-4-1 MIAC).

Sam Berger opened the scoring for the Pipers (5-12-4, 2-10-2) with a goal in the first.

FIRST PERIOD: 1, H, Berger (Koehn, Henning), 13:26.

SECOND PERIOD: No scoring

THIRD PERIOD: 2, C, Wright (Julius, Oliver), 8:19.
