Oak Grove seeking new head volleyball coachFARGO – Fargo Oak Grove Lutheran High School is actively seeking a new head volleyball coach.
Denny Stinar – who coached the Grovers the last five seasons – said he was informed by the school on Thursday that his contract would not be renewed.
“I spent five years at Oak Grove,” Denny Stinar said. “It was great working with the girls and all the parents. It was a great experience for me.”
Stinar guided the Grovers to a 31-7 record last season.
Oak Grove lost the Kindred in the Region 1 championship game after upsetting the defending Class B state champions Central Cass 3-2 in the semifinals.
There is a total of four vacant head volleyball coaching positions in the city of Fargo.
Fargo North, Fargo South and Fargo Davies also have head coaching positions yet to be filled.
Stinar said that he hasn’t considered applying for another coaching position.
