Hillary Clifton-Sloan has joined Health Pros Personal Training at Catalyst Medical Center, 1800 21st Ave. S., Fargo, as an independently contracted certified personal trainer.
She earned certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and she is pursing certification as a corrective exercise specialist.

Tots2Teens secondhand store opens in Fargo
Tots2Teens has opened in the Promenade Mall at 3021 13th Ave. S., Fargo.
The store, owned by Chris and Karla Demars, buys and sells quality pre-owned clothing, toys, equipment, bedding, etc. Clothing sizes range from infant to 16.

Behavioral health center opens in West Fargo
Beacon Behavioral Health Services and Training Center has opened at 102 W. Beaton Drive, West Fargo.
Angela M. Cavett and Jennifer M. Garaas provide psychological and behavioral services to children, adolescents and adults. Services include diagnostic assessments and psychological testing, individual, family and group therapy.
Garaas is a clinical psychologist and earned a doctorate through the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. She completed an internship at Spokane (Wash.) Mental Health and has practiced in the Fargo-Moorhead area for the past five years. She provides therapy for mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, behavioral problems and social skill deficits, autism spectrum and adjustment disorders. She also provides assessments for executive, intellectual and academic functioning.
Cavett has more than 10 years of post-doctoral experience as a psychologist. She earned a doctorate from UND and completed a child clinical psychology internship at Astor Home for Children, Rhinebeck, N.Y. She teaches as an adjunct at UND, is a registered play therapist supervisor, has written several chapters and books on child psychopathology and treatment and has presented internationally on child psychopathology and treatment.

WF business offers assistance for dyslexia
Haleys Hope has opened at 1150 Prairie Parkway, West Fargo. The business offers comprehensive screening, early intervention, tutoring, education and advocacy for children and adults with dyslexia.
Kari Bucholz and Tracy Dunham are certified Barton Reading and Spelling tutors, an Orton-Gillingham-based program that uses sequence and methodology when teaching reading to students with dyslexia.
Bucholz is founder and director of Haleys Hope. She has worked with people with dyslexia or six years. Dunham is a tutor and director of operations.
