NDSU ranks sixth in FCS football attendanceFARGO – North Dakota State ranked sixth with a school single-season record average of 18,516 fans in the final Football Championship Subdivision attendance figures.
Appalachian State led FCS attendance for the fifth time in six years with an average of 26,358. Other schools to average more than 20,000 were Montana (25,236), James Madison (22,783) and Old Dominion (20,037).
NDSU had 13 sellouts during the past seven seasons, including a school-record 19,065 fans last season against Youngstown State.
