Fargo Film Festival to offer sneak preview of upcoming feature film

FARGO – The Fargo Film Festival will screen a special sneak premiere of “The Brass Teapot,” an upcoming feature film produced by a company with Fargo ties, organizers announced Tuesday.

The film, which debuted at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival, will be screened at the Fargo Film Festival at 7 p.m. on March 8. It stars Juno Temple and Michael Angarano as a young couple who discover an antique teapot with magical powers.

“The Brass Teapot” was produced by Northern Lights Films, a company run by Fargo realtor Jeff Schlossman and two other North Dakotans. It premieres in select theaters on April 5.

This is the first time a film will debut at the Fargo Film Festival before being released nationwide, according to Emily Beck, the festival’s executive director.

The Fargo Film Festival is set for March 5-9 at the Fargo Theatre.
