Concordia holds on for one-point win over St. Mary’s

WINONA, Minn. – Ebo Nana-Kweson’s free throw with 28 seconds remaining put Concordia up three points and St. Mary’s was unable to close the gap in time.

Nana-Kweson tallied a team-high 15 points as the Cobbers (15-7, 12-5 MIAC) edged the Cardinals 61-60 in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men’s basketball Sunday.

Evan Pederson hit two free throws with seven seconds left to pull St. Mary’s within one, but time ran out on the Cardinals.

Michael Burfeind scored a game-high 24 points for St. Mary’s (3-18, 2-14).
