Thesing leads Cobbers women to eighth straight victory

WINONA, Minn. – Emily Thesing scored 17 points and pulled down seven rebounds to lead Concordia to its eighth straight victory, 64-54 over St. Mary’s on Sunday in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference women’s basketball.

Alley Fisher added 15 points on 5 of 10 shooting for the Cobbers (17-4, 16-2 MIAC), who made 50 percent of their shots from the field in the first half en route to a 35-27 halftime lead.
