Early childhood degree topic of MSCTC meetingMOORHEAD – Minnesota State Community and Technical College here will host an informational meeting at 6 p.m. Feb. 21 for those interested in earning an early childhood paraprofessional degree.
The college is considering a special program that would allow students to complete an associate’s degree over a three-year period through a combination of courses offered on the Moorhead campus and online.
The proposed program would begin in the fall and have a maximum enrollment of 25 students.
The 60-credit degree prepares students for positions such as school district paraprofessional or assistant teacher in a licensed child care setting.
