Style Profile: Communications specialist chooses rustic, feminine attire
The corporate communications specialist at TMI Hospitality creatively combines textures and colors to create her modern vintage style.

Describe your style. I like being comfortable. I like pairing things that seem like they don’t go together.
I mix rustic with feminine, and I just like to put things on and forget about it.
What are you wearing today? A Converse sweater from Target, a Jennifer Lopez skirt from Kohl’s, shoes from T.J. Maxx, Vera Bradley bag and tights from Walmart.
Where do you like to shop? Anthropologie, Banana Republic, The Limited, Macy’s, Gap, Apricot Lane and boutiques in the Black Hills.
What’s your favorite season for fashion? Winter because boot season is one of my favorite times.
What spring fashion trend are you most excited about? Mint everything. I’m obsessed with that color.
Who inspires your style? I’m always inspired by people who take risks and push boundaries. I work with stylish ladies who inspire me.
For celebrities, I like Nichole Richie’s style and Kate Middleton’s style.
You’re from South Dakota – does that mean you have cowboy boots? I do, and I dig them out when I’m back home. People are very serious about their cowboy boots.
