Gender-based violence topic of MSUM talk

MOORHEAD – A Minnesota State University Moorhead women’s and gender studies major will speak at the first Women’s and Gender Studies Colloquium Series event of the semester at 11:30 a.m. Friday in the Women’s Center of Bridges Hall 154.

Katie Kottenbrock will present “The Many Facets of Gender-based Violence: My work with the Minnesota Coalition for the Homeless.”

The event is free and open to the public.

The Women’s and Gender Studies Colloquium Series highlights MSUM faculty and student research that focuses on feminist, women’s and gender issues.
