Dragons men's track ranked 6th in Division II

MOORHEAD – Minnesota State Moorhead is ranked No. 6 in this week’s NCAA Division II men’s track and field national computer rankings.

That’s the highest ranking the Dragons have earned in the poll under head coach Keith Barnier, who is in his 11th season. The team’s previous best ranking was 12th.

The poll is based on U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association computer projections.

MSUM earned 98.44 points in the poll. The Dragons were ranked 14th last week. MSUM is the highest ranked Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference team in the poll, ahead of Minnesota State-Mankato (9th) and Augustana (19th).
