NDSU Libraries to host monthly speaker series

FARGO – The North Dakota State University Libraries are kicking off a monthly speaker series this month. Topics will range from poverty and homelessness to poetry and jazz appreciation.

The first presentation will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the main library and will feature Laurie Baker, executive director of the Fargo-Moorhead Coalition for Homeless Persons. She will speak about the local homeless situation, as well as students and youths as homeless persons.

The presentation is free and open to the public.
