‘Idle No More’ rally set Monday in Fargo

FARGO – The Main Avenue bridge, known as the Veterans Memorial Bridge, will be the site of an “Idle No More” informational rally Monday evening.

“Idle No More” is a grassroots movement started in Canada. Its goal is to provide information about protecting Native Americans and natural resources.

“Essentially, it comes down to protecting the earth,” said rally organizer Deb Dorman, 39 of Fargo. Dorman is a descendant of the Boise Fort tribe.

The rally starts at 5 p.m., and the public is welcome to attend.
