KLJ, an engineering, surveying and planning firm, has hired Sean Kelly in the Fargo office as an engineer technician with the transportation group.
Kelly is pursuing a bachelors degree in civil engineering from North Dakota State University.
Brian Wiesner hired as mortgage loan officer
Brian Wiesner has joined Choice Financial as a mortgage loan officer at its Fargo location, 4501 23rd Ave. S.
Wiesner has previous lending experience with a local mortgage company and also has experience in sales and marketing.
He earned a bachelors degree in graphic design from St. Cloud (Minn.) State University.
Oldyn hired as client service representative
Absolute Marketing Group, Moorhead, has hired Kristen Oldyn as a client service representative.
Oldyn, a native of Eagan, Minn., previously worked for Absolute Marketing as a media buying intern. She graduated in December from North Dakota State University with a degree in business marketing. She is also an assistant coach with the NDSU Bison Dance Team.
Pediatric Therapy Partners hires Pladson
Leslie Pladson, an occupational therapist, has joined Pediatric Therapy Partners, 3060 Frontier Way S., Fargo.
Pladson earned a bachelors degree in health studies and a masters degree in occupational therapy from Texas Womans University, Denton.
She has had fieldwork experience at Veterans Affairs in Minneapolis and at Pediatric Therapy Partners. Her areas of interest are developmental therapy for infants and small children, social skills and sensory integration.
Three new Realtors at Keller Williams Roers
Keller Williams Roers Realty of Fargo has hired Micah Thureen, Beau Flom and Theresa Halvorson as Realtors.
Eckman promoted at Boys and Girls Club
Alehna Eckman has been promoted to curriculum coordinator/preschool teacher at the Boys and Girls Club of the Red River Valley/Youth Commission, Fargo.
She will coordinate, oversee and implement a program curriculum serving more than 1,300 youths in the F-M area. She will also instruct the preschool program, educating children age 3-5.
Eckman graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelors degree in elementary education. She began her employment with the Youth Commission in September.
Two promoted, one hired at VISIONBank
VISIONBank, Fargo, has promoted Drew Eichele to credit assistant and Michelle Willard to operations assistant. Mandi Maloney has joined VISIONBank as a loan processor.
Eichele has been with the bank since May and is attending North Dakota State University.
Willard is a graduate of NDSU and has been with VISIONBank for two years.
Maloney has seven years of banking experience and is a graduate of Northland Community and Technical College, Thief River Falls, Minn.
TMI Hospitality hires Christianson, Scott
TMI Hospitality, Fargo, has hired Ashley Christianson as a treasury specialist and Angela Scott as payroll supervisor.
Christianson has worked in the banking industry for the past four years as a bank teller at Wells Fargo and as a customer service representative and commercial credit analyst intern at Alerus Financial. She is attending North Dakota State University and will graduate in May with a bachelors degree in finance.
Scott has 12 years of experience in the accounting and human resources fields. She graduated from Minnesota State Community and Technical College with a degree in accounting and has worked in accounting, payroll and benefits at DMS Health Technologies and Swanson Health Products.
Sweetow to lead ATF St. Paul Field Division
The U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, St. Paul Field Division, has appointed Scott D. Sweetow as the special agent in charge.
Sweetow will be responsible for ATF operations in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota and South Dakota.
Sweetow replaces Bernard J. Zapor, who has served as the SAC in St. since 2005. Zapor was promoted to deputy assistant director-central and will oversee eight ATF field divisions as well as the ATF special operations division.
Sweetow began his career with ATF in 1990 and has served as an intelligence officer in Los Angeles, a program manager and chief of the policy development and evaluation branch, Washington, D.C., chief of the arson, explosives and international training division, Washington, a supervisory special agent in the Phoenix field division, and since 2011, the SAC of the Atlanta field division. Sweetow has also served as a law enforcement trainer in numerous countries across four continents.
A native of Tucson, Ariz., he has a bachelors degree in Russian and Soviet area studies and a masters degree in strategic intelligence. He is a graduate of Harvard Universitys senior executives in national and international security program and the FBIs law enforcement executive development program. Sweetow is a recognized expert in fire and explosives matters, and has often been featured in local and national media on those topics.
One promoted, one hired at Dacotah Paper
Dacotah Paper Co., Fargo, has promoted Andrew Holmquist to Fargo territory sales representative. The company has also hired Dennis Ellwanger as a sales trainer.
Holmquist has worked for Dacotah Paper since 2011.
Braun joins ReMax Legacy Realty in Fargo
Terry Braun has joined ReMax Legacy Realty in Fargo as a Realtor. He is licensed in North Dakota and Minnesota.
Braun lives in Moorhead and has worked in the real estate business for 16 years, most recently as co-owner of Century 21 Gold Key Downtown Fargo since 2005.
He is a graduate of Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Moorhead, with a degree in management. He graduated from the Prosource Real Estate School, Minneapolis.
Dakota CDC Corp. hires 3, promotes two
Dakota Certified Development Corp., Fargo, has hired Sarah Larson as vice president of lending and operations, Jessica Heilman as entrepreneurial program manager and Christie Williams as a commercial loan officer.
The company also promoted Shea Schwartz to loan closing and portfolio manager and Emily Odland to commercial loan underwriter.
Larson graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead and has 17 years of experience in lending and credit analysis.
Heilman is a graduate of Concordia College and North Dakota State University. She has 12 years of experience in development, communications and lending.
Williams graduated from Montana State University, Bozeman, and has six years of experience with loan closings, compliance and portfolio management.
Schwartz has three years of experience in lending and graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Odland is a graduate of Mount Marty College, Yankton, S.D., and has more than five years of experience in portfolio management, pro forma development and managing effective relationships.
Appareo Systems in Fargo hires three
Appareo Systems, Fargo, has hired Bryan Ritzke as a senior printed circuit board designer, Chris Serani as an electronics technician and Darci Claude as a manufacturing assembler.
Ritzke is a graduate of the North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton, with an associate degree in mechanical drafting and design technology. He has more than 26 years of technical design experience.
Serani earned a degree in television production from Brown College. He has more than five years of experience in electronics repair.
Claude earned a bachelors degree in criminal justice from Rasmussen College and has 20 years of experience in electronics manufacturing.
Travis Voegele joins Property Resources
Travis Voegele has joined Property Resources Group, Fargo, as a commercial real estate agent
Voegele most recently worked as a commercial real estate agent with Lexstar Realty, concentrating on land development and site location. He also was the sales manager for the Urban Plains Center and was a commercial insurance agent for Insure Forward.
Voegele is a graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead, where he earned a degree in advertising and public relations.
Newton joins Coldwell Banker Commercial
Brad Newton has joined Coldwell Banker Commercial First Realty in Fargo as a sales associate.
He previously worked for 20 years at Red River Commodities in management and sales.
Newton, originally from Glyndon, Minn., graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelors degree in business management.
International Bank and Trust hires Hagen
Brian Hagen has joined First International Bank and Trust as president and Fargo market manager.
Hagen has worked in the banking industry for more than 30 years in commercial, consumer and ag lending.
Hagen is originally from Bottineau, N.D., and graduated from North Dakota State University.
