Fargo sex offender back in custodyFARGO – Police say a moderate-risk registered sex offender turned himself in after seeing stories in local media that police were looking for him after he failed to maintain contact with them or tell them his new address.
Police say they arrested Gerardo Garza on suspicion of failing to register as a sex offender, a felony.
Garza was convicted of sexual assault in Webb County, Texas in 2002. A news release from police says his victim was a 14-year-old girl whom Garza knew. He’s required to register until 2027.
