Country star Hunter Hayes added to RRVF concertsWEST FARGO – Less than a year after opening up for Carrie Underwood at the Fargodome, Hunter Hayes returns to the area headlining his own show.
The country singer plays July 12 at the Red River Valley Fair.
The 21-year-old landed hits with “Storm Warning,” “Somebody’s Heartbreak” and the chart-topping “Wanted,” off of his 2011 self-titled debut. He won new artist of the year at the 2012 Country Music Association Awards and is nominated for three Grammys, including Best New Artist and Best Country Album.
Fellow country act The Band Perry is the only other act announced, playing the fair on July 13.
Tickets for the grandstand shows are free with paid gate admission, $8 for adults, $4 for ages 6-11 is $4 and children 5 and under are free.
The 2013 Red River Valley Fair will be held July 9-14, 2013, in West Fargo, North Dakota.
