North Dakota State football makes offer to JohsBISMARCK – North Dakota State has made a football scholarship offer to Bismarck High School senior running back Layne Johs on Monday.
Johs – 5-foot-11, 210 pounds – was North Dakota’s player of the year rushing for 1,990 yards and 32 touchdowns on 206 carries last season.
Johs tweeted on Sunday that North Dakota State head coach Craig Bohl was scheduled to make a visit on Monday.
He later tweeted on Monday evening that the school had offered him a scholarship and that he would be making his decision next month. National Signing Day for football is Feb. 6.
