Wind chill warning remains in effect for regionFARGO – A wind chill warning remains in effect for the region until noon today.
The temperature at Fargo's Hector International Airport was 14 below zero at about 7 a.m., with a wind chill of 35 below zero, according to the National Weather Service.
Dangerous wind chill values from 40 to 50 below will persist through the morning, the weather service said.
Today’s high temperature is expected to reach only 7 below, followed by a low tonight of 22 below.
Cold weather will stick around through the rest of the week. The weather service forecast calls for highs of near zero degrees on Tuesday, 3 above on Wednesday and Thursday and 2 below on Friday.
