One critically injured in crashBRAINERD, Minn. – Three people were injured, one critically, when two vehicles collided Saturday at the intersection of Highway 18 and Two Mile Road, the State Patrol reported.
A 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix was going north at about 7:14 a.m. on Two Mile Road and the driver failed to stop at the intersection with Highway 18. The car then broadsided a 2005 Dodge Caravan going westbound on Highway 18, the Patrol reported.
The unnamed driver of the car, identified as a 47-year-old from Walker, was in critical condition, the Patrol reported.
The driver of the van, Jack A. Fitzwater, 40, Hutchinson, and the passenger, Jess Olson, 35, Hutchinson, were treated and released from Essentia Health St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd, a hospital spokeswoman said Saturday.
