Thesing’s late free throw propels Concordia women

ST. PETER, Minn. – A free throw from Emily Thesing with 2 seconds left lifted Concordia to a 50-49 win over Gustavus in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference women’s basketball on Saturday.

Erika Jossart tied the game for the Cobbers at 49-49 with a jumper with 0:38 remaining in the second half.

Thesing led the Cobbers (11-4, 10-2 MIAC) with 13 points while Alexandra Lippert chipped in with 12 points.
