3 injured in crash near BrainerdBRAINERD, Minn. – Three people were injured, one critically, when two vehicles collided this morning at the intersection of Highway 18 and Two Mile Road, the State Patrol reported.
A 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix was going north about 7:14 a.m. on Two Mile Road and the driver failed to stop at the intersection with Highway 18. The car then broadsided a 2005 Dodge Caravan going westbound on Highway 18, the Patrol reported.
The driver of the car, Ronald E. Demo, 47, Walker, was in critical condition, the Patrol reported.
The driver of the van, Jack A. Fitzwater, 40, Hutchinson, and his passenger, Jess Olson, 35, Hutchinson, were both treated and released from Essentia Health St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd, a hospital spokeswoman said.
