Fargo Force skills challenge Feb. 17

FARGO – The Fargo Force will host the second annual skills challenge Feb. 17 at 2 p.m. at Scheels Arena. Doors open at 1:30 p.m.

The event is free to the public and include a series of challenges between Team Blue and Team White with a game between the two teams at the end.

Fans can vote for the cap-tains of both teams by emailing fan-votes@fargoforce.com or through the Fargo Force’s Facebook or Twitter pages.

Captains will be an-nounced Feb. 4 at noon and a draft will occur with the captains choosing their team. A video of the draft will be posted on YouTube after.

The challenges that the two teams will be compet-ing in are fastest skater, hardest shot, accuracy, goalie competition, timed skills course, breakaway challenge and an elimina-tion shootout. The Blue vs. White game will take place after the completion of the challenges and fans will be able to bring their skates and head down onto the ice to skate with the Force after the scrimmage.

The event will also be broadcasted for free on FastHockey. Fans can log in by creating an account on FastHockey.com.
