The North Dakota Department of Commerce has awarded a $50,000 workforce enhancement grant to the North Dakota State College of Science to support the colleges efforts to train students in torque fastening procedures.
This new education will help to ensure safe operation and improve the durability of vehicles and equipment in the transportation, heavy-duty /diesel and manufacturing industries.
Salvation Army receives $2,000 donation
Brite-Way Window Cleaning, Fargo, has donated $2,000 to the Salvation Army.
The funds will be used for general operating expenses.
Bikes donated to Big Brother, Big Sister
Employees of Custom Marketing Co., West Fargo, recently participated in a team-building project and assembled seven childrens bicycles.
The bicycles have been donated to the Big Brother Big Sister program through the Village Family Service Center, Fargo.
Impact Foundation awarded $25,000 grant
The Bush Foundation has awarded a $25,000 grant to Impact Foundation to expand the Giving Hearts Day online fundraising event.
Impact Foundation will use the grant to provide training on promoting and preparing a successful Giving Hearts Day fundraising campaign to new areas of North Dakota.
