Roughriders skate passed South-Shanley

FARGO – Grand Forks Red River’s Ross Johnson scored two goals to help the Roughriders to a 9-1 victory over Fargo South-Shanley on Thursday in North Dakota East Region boys hockey.

Seven other individuals scored for Red River.

James Johanessan scored the Bruins’ only goal, while goalkeeper Jake Salentine tallied 47 saves in only two periods. Salentine had 33 saves in the second period alone.
