Police receive reports of illegal snowmobile useFARGO – Fargo police say they have received multiple complaints about people illegally riding snowmobiles within city limits, according to a news release.
Police are warning riders it is illegal to operate snowmobiles in the city unless it is on property you own or lease yourself.
Police say it is also illegal to operate a snowmobile unless you are more than 16 years old, it is between the hours of 7 a.m. and 10 p.m., and you have liability insurance.
It is also illegal to operate a snowmobile in Fargo with more than one passenger and while towing a sled or toboggan.
