Force hosting events to help fight cancerFARGO – The Fargo Force, in conjunction with State Farm Agent Jill Henning and Sanford Health’s embrace, will host the first ever Suits-N-Sticks dinner at Scheels Arena Feb. 14 at 7 p.m.
The night will include a meal served by the Fargo Force players and several guest speakers, including former NHL player and U.S. Olympian, Dave Chris-tian. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to embrace – Sanford Health’s cancer survivorship program – as well as any tips given to the players at the end of the meal.
The second annual Purple-N-Pucks game will be on Feb. 16 at 7:05 p.m. versus the Waterloo Black Hawks. Force players will auction off their purple game worn jerseys following the game with all proceeds from the auction benefitting embrace. Limited Purple-N-Pucks merchandise will be available to purchase at the game with 20 percent of those proceeds going back to embrace.
