Are you our next Fargo Star? Enter todayFARGO – Warm up your vocal cords and practice your stage presence, it’s that time of year again. Fargo Star, The Forum’s annual singing showcase, returns today as we begin taking submissions for 2013 hopefuls.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll accept videos of performers who have dreams of singing on stage for the Fargo Star finals March 23 at The Venue.
With a shorter-than-usual submission period, we’re encouraging performers to get a YouTube video clip of you singing to us by Jan. 27. Go to fargostar.areavoices.com to fill out your information and submit a video.
You can sing a cappella or with a backing track, solo or with instrumental accompaniment. Entrants can be any age and sing any genre of music. We just don’t accept songs with offensive or lewd material.
If you need help with your video, we’ll be holding recording sessions in the coming weeks where you will have one take to nail your performance.
We’ll open the videos for voting in February, but in the meantime, practice your lyrics and perfect your look. You’re on your way to being the next Fargo Star.
