Miss North Dakota, Miss Minnesota cut in semifinals
Miss North Dakota Rosie Sauvageau and Miss Minnesota Siri Freeh were among the 37 women who didn’t advance on the final night of competition, aired live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
Sauvageau, 24, of Fargo, was named the preliminary talent winner Thursday night for her vocal/piano performance of “To Make You Feel My Love.” She will receive a $2,000 Amway scholarship for her win.
She attended Shanley High School in Fargo and graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead in 2010 with majors in communication/theater arts and apparel design.
Freeh, 22, of Lake Park, graduated from Moorhead’s Park Christian High School in 2008, and is currently a nursing student at the University of Minnesota.
