Bison, Sam Houston State tied at halftime in FCS title gameFRISCO, Texas -- North Dakota State, boosted by a career record interception by Marcus Williams, and Sam Houston State were tied 10-10 at halftime Saturday in the Division I Football Championship Subdivision title game.
After Williams' pick, NDSU marched 72 yards in five plays scoring on a 20-yard run by quarterback Brock Jensen.
But the Bearkats came back to go 75 yards getting a key 30-yard pass to Richard Sincere to the 1.
The teams traded field goals to get on the board. Boosted by a 57-yard run by John Crockett, Adam Keller nailed 32-yarder with 3:49 left in the first quarter for a 3-0 Bison lead.
