Letter: Folks should stay for entire concert

On Dec. 17, my wife and I were to attend an orchestra concert at Fargo North High School. For some reason, they changed the band concert to Monday and the orchestra concert to Tuesday. Being from out of town and not knowing anyone in the band, we considered leaving but decided to stay for a few selections as they were playing Christmas music. The band was so good, the singers were great and the director was great. We ended up staying for the entire concert, which was only 45 minutes.

One thing bothers me, though. Some people, prominent people, whether their children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews or whoever were freshman, sophomores or in the senior band, they came just before their child would play and then left right after.

Come on people, we can’t stay 45 minutes to an hour and support the whole band?

You have an outstanding concert and jazz band. Support the whole group.
