Weekend watch: ‘Sesame Street’ show at Dome

FARGO – Sometimes even superheroes need a little help from their friends.

That’s the message at the Gate City Bank Theatre – Fargodome this weekend when “Sesame Street Live: Elmo’s Super Heroes” takes the stage.

The story follows Sesame’s seasoned furry blue hero, Super Grover, who has lost his superness. Knowing that Sesame Street needs a hero, Elmo comes to the rescue with Abby Cadabby, Big Bird and a league of colorful super friends to help return Grover’s powers.

Through songs and actions the troupe offers lessons on the importance of exercise, nutrition, hygiene and sleep to bring Super Grover back to top form. Who says learning can’t be fun?

Shows are at 7 p.m. Friday, 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday and 1 and 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

Tickets are $14, $17, or $21 for floor seats, $26 for gold circle and $51 for sunny seats. For Friday’s show only, all floor seats are $14. The sunny seats packages include VIP seats and a pre-show meet-and-greet photo opportunity with two of the stage characters.
