Force’s Arentz commits to Bemidji State, named captainFARGO – Fargo Force forward Nate Arentz had a big day Monday, as the Lakeville native committed to Bemidji State University and was named new head captain of the Force.
Through 30 games this season in his third season in the United States Hockey League, Arentz has posted 14 points with seven goals and seven assists. Last season, he posted 22 points, scoring 10 goals and added 12 assists in 54 games with the team. He also had the honor of being named one of four Force players selected to play in the 2012 USHL/NHL top prospects game last year.
In other Force news, defenseman Victor Bjorkung was picked up off waivers by the Sioux Falls Stampede.
