Survey: Employees think DSU has room to improveDICKINSON, N.D. — A survey of Dickinson State University employees indicates that the school has room for improvement.
The Dickinson Press reports that an edited version of the anonymous employee survey was released Thursday. The newspaper reports that 96 of the 254 eligible university employees completed the survey questionnaire in October.
About 56 percent of those responding say they are satisfied or very satisfied with their employment at the school, down from 70 percent in 2010.
When asked their overall impression of quality at the school, 24 percent of those responding indicated the university was below average or inadequate.
It's the first employee survey since an audit released in February indicated the university awarded degrees to hundreds of students who had not completed their course work.
