Man nabbed after road chase ends in snowWAHPETON, N.D. – A Kansas man was arrested Saturday after leading officers on a highway chase that ended when he got stuck in snow.
Michael Owens, 39, was charged with possessing stolen property, fleeing and criminal trespass, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Office.
Owens stole a truck in Jamestown, and was clocked going 100 miles an hour on Interstate 29 near the border between Richland and Cass counties.
The chase ended when the stolen truck Owens was driving got stuck in the snow near Hankinson. He tried to flee on foot before he was caught.
