Authorities ID woman killed in Clay County rolloverMOORHEAD – Authorities have released the name of a woman killed in a one-vehicle crash that also injured one man around noon Friday north of Moorhead.
The driver of a minivan lost control, veered off the road and rolled a couple of times near 60th Avenue North and County Road 11, said Clay County Sheriff Bill Bergquist.
He said the roads were not icy, and the cause of the accident hasn’t been determined.
Authorities have identified the woman killed as Angela Haug, 47 of Ulen, Minn. Haug was a passenger in the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. She was transported to Ramsey County for an autopsy.
The driver, Haug’s ex-husband, Donald Haug, 57, of Ulen, was taken to Sanford Health in Fargo by helicopter.
The accident is still being investigated and possible charges could be filed, according to the sheriff’s office.
Dilworth Fire Department, F-M Ambulance, Minnesota State Patrol and Glyndon Rescue also responded to the accident.
