Moorhead police recover stolen vehicleMOORHEAD – It didn’t take long for Moorhead police to recover a stolen vehicle Thursday night.
Police reported they were notified about 9:30 p.m. that a truck had just been stolen in the EasTen area on Highway 10. About three minutes later, a Moorhead officer found the truck in downtown Moorhead.
The truck was stopped and two adults were arrested: George Jeffrey Davis, 32, of Brook Park, and Hayley Errin Bachan, 19, of Mora.
Davis is being held at the Clay County Jail on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle and driving after revocation, police stated in a news release. He is also being held on a felony warrant issued by the Minnesota Department of Corrections.
Bachan is also being held at the Clay County Jail and is charged with possession of a stolen vehicle.
Moorhead police remind motorists that if they’re going to leave their vehicle unattended while it’s running, they should keep an extra set of keys so the vehicle can be locked.
