Fargo police release photos from GameStop robbery

FARGO – The Fargo Police Department released photos Monday from a Dec. 8 armed robbery at a video game store in Fargo.

According to a news release from Lt. Joel Vettel:

The male in the photos entered GameStop, 1801 45 St. S., shortly before closing time, carrying what appears to be a rifle with a grab handle and sling, A-frame style front sight.

The suspect demanded money from the safe and cash register. The clerk complied, and the suspect fled the store on foot. It is unknown if the suspect continued on foot or had a vehicle nearby.

The man is described as a white in his late teens to 20s, about 6 feet tall, with a thin to medium build.

Security video shows what appears to be long wavy brown hair covering part of the suspect’s face when he exits the store. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black and white T-shirt, a gray hooded sweatshirt with white on the back of the arms, a black ski mask or balaclava and sunglasses.

The photos are posted to the department’s Facebook page at facebook.com/fargo.police.
