North Dakota State names Kroetsch interim men's golf coach

FARGO - Kris Kroetsch, PGA teaching professional at the Fargo Country Club, was named interim head men’s golf coach at North Dakota State on Friday.

He replaces Billy Iverson, who resigned last month. NDSU athletic director gene Taylor said a search for the next head men’s golf coach will begin next April.

Kroetsch started as an assistant golf professional at Fargo Country Club in March 2008 and previously spent six years at Moorhead Country Club. His professional accomplishments include Dakota Chapter PGA Player of the Year honors eight times from 2003 to 2012, five Dakota Chapter championships, and recognition as the Dakota Chapter PGA Assistant Professional of the Year in 2007 and 2012.
