Young helps Tommies topple Concordia women

ST. PAUL – Taylor young scored 18 points on 6 of 12 shooting from the field to propel St. Thomas to a 65-53 win over Concordia in women’s Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play on Monday.

Kellie Ring added 14 points and five steals for the Tommies (5-1, 3-0 MIAC).

Tricia Sorensen led the Cobbers (3-3, 2-1) with 16 points with Emily Thesing adding 14 points.
