Letter: Black Friday shopping bullies

Black Friday shopping has been something my daughters and I have enjoyed for years. We didn’t mind stores opening early, because we were done with our celebrating. We didn’t end up shopping as many stores only because the ones that didn’t open until after 5 a.m. we didn’t want to wait for since we had been shopping since 8 p.m.

Kohl’s is the only store we always have a problem at. Every year for the past five years or more, we wait in line with all the early birds. At the last five minutes or so, people start to get out of their cars to mingle across the parking lot, waiting until the doors open only to rush into the line pushing the people who have waited back. Why would anyone be so rude, and why doesn’t Kohl’s help prevent this like the rest of the stores?

Someone is going to get hurt. It’s sad to think we have such bullies in our area.
