Authorities find several guns in Minn. cop-killing

ST. PAUL — Authorities have located several guns as they investigate the ambush killing of a police officer in central Minnesota.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Stearns County sheriff's office say the investigation into the shooting death of Cold Spring police Officer Tom Decker is continuing.

Officers are still looking for any guns or other weapons that may be related to Decker's killing.

Decker was responding to a report of a suicidal man late Thursday when he was shot. A 34-year-old suspect is in jail.

A preliminary autopsy shows Decker died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Investigators say they have conducted many interviews and continue to interview potential witnesses.
