Center for Interfaith Projects event set

FARGO – The Center for Interfaith Projects will present “Rituals of Different Faith Traditions – Demonstrations and Explanations” at 2 p.m. Dec. 8 in the Lotus Studio of the Spirit Room, 111 Broadway.

Among the faiths represented will be Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam and Native American spirituality. Those performing rituals will explain the meaning and value of these practices for their spiritual life.

There will also be a silent auction fundraiser for the center that will include hangings, ritual objects, icons, sacred texts and more from different religious traditions, as well as an assortment of other items, including products donated by area businesses.

Desserts from around the world, coffee and tea will be served.

The event is free and open to the public.
