Fergus Falls museum holiday events planned

FERGUS FALLS, Minn. – The Otter Tail County Museum here will host a variety of holiday events Thursday and Dec. 8.

On Thursday, Milo Mugaas will demonstrate his vintage apple cider press at 4 p.m., followed by a lefse-making demonstration by Sue Schroeder at 6.

Events Dec. 8 include the family program, “Curley Gets Cold Feet” at 10 a.m., by Karen Aakre, who will tell stories about her famous wandering goat who received national attention. At 2 p.m., the Museum Players Guild will present “A Kirkbride Christmas,” a depiction of what the holidays may have been like at the State Hospital, including food, decorations and entertainment.
