Notre Dame coach fined for comments after UND gameGRAND FORKS – Notre Dame coach Jeff Jackson has been fined an undisclosed amount of money and publicly reprimanded for making disparaging comments about the officials after Friday night’s 2-1 loss against the University of North Dakota.
Jackson was particularly upset about the referees waving off a potential game-tying goal by Anders Lee in the final two minutes of the game.
Referee Keith Sergott lost sight of a loose puck in the crease area and blew the play dead. Moments after he blew his whistle, Lee poked a loose puck in the net.
